Just a quick update of photos before
I head to Washington DC.
I woke up extra early today and spent
the morning hours in Kamakura taking some photos and
practicing with my new Zeiss lenses.
I have already fallen in love with
them.
For my DC trip all I will be taking
in terms of photo gear is the following:
1D Mark II
Zeiss 21mm f2.8
Zeiss 35mm f2.8
Zeiss 50mm f1.4
Zeiss 135mm f 2.8
10 GB worth of memory cards
I don't think I will have too much
time to take photos, so I will not even be bringing
my battery charger. I'm not too worried though, the
battery on the 1D Mark II just goes and goes and I have
no fear of running out of juice during my trip.

I'll be back on Saturday the 28th
of May. The Photo of the Day will continue to update
as usual while I am gone.
Get ready for some Yabusame photos.
I'll be attending a Yabusame festival on the 29th. (I
hope jet-lag does not slow me down too much. You have
to be on your toes when capturing that fast action.)
