The latest Sushicam Monthly Prints Raffle is now over. Here are the lucky winners:

Roger - 2 prints
Daniel - 1 print
Yukiko - 1 print
Tom - 2 prints
Lorelei - 2 prints
Mon - 1 print
Sven - 1 print
Glainfach - 1 print
James - 1 print
Seth - 1 print
Joel - 1 print
Dan - 2 prints

Since I will be out of town for the next two weeks, all the winners have plenty of time to think about what photo(s) they would like. Just send me an email (jeff"at mark"sushicam.com) to let me know what your address is and what photo you would like. (Also, it is not necessary, but having a phone number to go along with your delivery address will help to ensure there are no problems with delivery)

Thank you to all who entered, and congratulations to the winners.

I'll start up the next Sushicam Prints raffle when I return to Japan in the beginning of August.

While riding the train today I saw a few T-shirt slogans I just have to share here:

"jeffy super pack days" - worn by 27-30 year old woman

"Us how cute" - worn by 6-7 year old girl

"Blow jobs $10" worn by 14-16 year old boy

(The ages are my best estimates)

You see the strangest things written on T-shirts in the country......

As you already know, tomorrow I leave for a two week business/personal trip back to the States. I've yet to even start packing so this is going to be a pretty brief update. As small consolation for the lack of writing I did double the normal serving of photos for you.

The Photo of the Day will continue to update as usual while I am away.

I'm really looking forward to the break from the regular office routine. (Which has been anything but routine as of late.) I've been running myself ragged these past couple of weeks, and I feel like I'm just about out of gas, so the change of pace/scenery is just what the doctor ordered.

I've felt a bit jaded as of late, (and it likely has shown in my writing and photos), but absence does truley make the heart grow fonder. So the next two weeks away from Japan is going to be just long enough I think for me to regain my "Gaijin Eye" for Japan.

See you all when I get back.
